Wales v Scotland, Six Nations 2022

Wales v Scotland Six Nations 2022 We’re in the middle of November, the ‘Autumn Rugby Series’ is in full flow and Christmas is on the horizon… so it’s slightly strange to be looking ahead and fast forwarding begin to 2022. However due to popular demand… we’re on it! Wales v Scotland, 6 Nations 2022 is the obvious choice for matchday hospitality. Round 2 of the championship, 12 February. The Scots are coming to Cardiff looking for their first Six Nations with in the capitol since 2002 (Parc Y Scarlets 2020 doesn’t count) and Wales (again, forget about recent results) are reigning Six Nations champions. Probably should be reigning Grand Slam champions, however who can forget the capitulation in France on the final weekend. Nevertheless, this will be a huge match, and Cardiff will once again be packed to the rafters. Especially considering when this fixtures was last scheduled to be played at the Principality. Yes, the week Covid struck and shut down the whole of the UK. The game game where the WRU said the match was on, the Scots travelled down, and then the game was cancelled. There’s unfinished business for all of us with this one. Two years in the making! This match up over recent years has provided some memorable rugby moments - arguably the best matches of the Six Nations. It easy for the Welsh to say as we’ve been on the right side of the scoreline more often than not. 2008 - Gatland’s first Grand Slam and that try under in the left hand corner by Shane WIlliams (Wales 30 v 15 Scotland). 2009 - Murryfield. Wales began the defence of their crown by comfortably beating Scotland at Murrayfield with a first-half display which ex-England centre Jeremy Guscott described as ‘perfect’ (Scotland 13 v 26 Wales). 2010 - that comeback and try under the post by Shane WIlliams (Wales 31 v 24 Scotland) 2019 - Murryfield. Hamish Watson the recking ball turned the game and nearly spoilt Gatland’s farewell (Scotland 11 v 18 Wales). They’re just a few of the memorable games, from a Welsh perspective, between two proud nations It’s unusual to say that Scotland may be travelling to Wales as favourites this time around. Higher in the world ranking, recently beaten Australia and continually improving. It’s a match not to miss. Following the success of our Wales v New Zealand event for the Autumn Series. We have been re-energised with our hospitality planning. We enjoyed welcoming everybody back so much we want more. Our private style of event is more popular than ever. The convenience of a nearby bar, a less crowded space, a large screen to watch all the games that are on that day and of course entertaining guest speakers who you may not have the opportunity to meet otherwise. It takes the hassle and concerns about covid away from any outing to a mass of people. Who would you like to be our guests? Jim Hamilton, Jamie Roberts… please get in touch with us to let us know and we’ll strive to make it happen. Shane Williams and George North were fantastic last time out. Ticket are now available on our website. If interested don’t delay as nearly 50% if the tickets were sold prior to release. That’s how much in demand this event is. This will certainly be the first event for 2022 we’re organising but certainly not the last. There will be a number of non-match day hospitality events in Wales during the course of the year. All of which will look to entertain you with first class guest speakers. As always, we look forward to meeting you and keep an eye on our social media for the very latest announcements. 218 Events - ‘Giving You The Best Seat In The House’.
